Defensoría comunitaria
Each journey is unique. Camden House offers a range of services to support you along the way.
Camden House's Outreach Advocate provides community-based, survivor-centered advocacy including assessment, safety planning, case management, referrals, follow-up, and coordination with community agencies. The role also manages outreach efforts and coordinates the agency's food donation pickup and distribution.
Case management services are provided to both residential and non-residential participants using a trauma-informed, empowerment-based approach where survivors define their own goals. Support includes identifying goals (housing, employment, safety, mental health), coordinating services, providing referrals, completing releases of information, assisting with financial requests, and helping participants navigate challenges and available resources.
Short-term, individualized support is available in a safe and confidential location, with referral to community partners for additional supportive services. All services are free and confidential.
